garden 24 is a sound installation that uses a 24h recording of the gardens of Villa Medici in Rome. The recording is cut up into 24 segments (hours) and played back into the garden in random mode so that the hours get mixed up. The speakers are set up on the porch of a pavilion in the garden. In order not to interfere with the biorhythm of birds and other animals the sounds are only played during the daytime The sign for the installation is an altered bank 24 logo.
