The video shows the dancer, choreographer and microbiologist Xavier Le Roy in conversation with his osteopath Martina Zeidler. They talk about their different practices and understanding of the body. In their work both deal with subtle processes that often escape concrete definitions. By acknowledging these processes their practice shapes methods and languages outside of the tradition of the enlightenment. They discuss alternative formations of knowledge that are produced by the body itself and they describe how their practice is determined by this knowledge. The formations of relationships between therapist-client and performer-audience are being compared.
